If your neighbour has a baby, and it cries ALL NIGHT, and it's room-is directly next to yours divided by a wall, is it okay to ask them to move the baby to another room? My alarm goes off at 5am. This baby cries until 2, 3am most nights. I am exhausted. I am ill. I am childless by choice and I DO NOT need this. I understand the mother is tired. But you know what? This was not my choice. I'm experiencing the consequences of her choice and I am no longer understanding of it.

@Moonlight_myths Sleep deprivation is torture. The baby isn’t at fault, but neither is the neighbour who didn’t choose to have one. A polite conversation about possible solutions isn’t unreasonable.

Somebody should start a thread or blog of couples with long marriages. Where they met, their life together, best memories they have together, secrets to making their marriage last...these unions need to be celebrated and congratulated. I loved when elderly patients would share with me their stories of how they met their spouses, and the important moments in their life, the ups and downs, and how that person was their best friend and true love. Its heartwarming to hear. These stories will be gone one day. They should be remembered.
