You're cheaper. Companies aren't hiring you for your wisdom. They're hiring you because you cost less than the 45 year old senior. That's an advantage, take it, and don't expect a six figure job coming out of college. 3. You're the new guy. You can ask questions. You can be curious. Nobody expects you to know everything. This wears off pretty quickly so make sure to take advantage while you can. The new grads who figure this out early win. The ones chasing "balance" before they've built anything worth balancing? They wake up one day at 35 years old wondering why they can't advance their careers.
