@charliewrich @Budgetdog_ And your property taxes might only be up 1.5%. But are 3x higher than other places in the country. Lived in MN for 38yrs of my life. Moved out 6yrs ago, eye opening!
English

@Budgetdog_ Not in the Midwest. We live in the fastest growing part of Minnesota and property taxes are up 1.5%, and our homeowners insurance increased by 2%. Same for the year before. Beating inflation!
English

@charliewrich @Budgetdog_ Your insurance is already high you just don’t know it. When we moved out of MN we paid 30% less for the same coverage on auto, apples to apples. They just build it in.

•Crawling was removed as a developmental milestone.
•Walking alone was moved from 12 months to 15 months.
•Rolling was moved from 4 months to 6 months.
•First word was moved from 12 months to 15 months.
•2-year-olds are now expected to only use two words together rather than 2 to 4 word sentences.
•3-year-olds are no longer expected to use full sentences in conversations.
Do you see what they’re doing?

@texasrunnerDFW @thewealthdad 💯 this! In the throws of the teen yrs and this sucks!
English

@thewealthdad It’s so hard and then it gets easier and then it gets hard in an even bigger way again

Had toughest day in a while with both the kids. From 730am-7pm, just constant fighting/crying/arguing. Wife and I cut dinner short, separated them, and got them in bed early. We both took one. Took them 30 min to go to sleep. Wife and I then back to kitchen to clean/pack school lunches for another 30 min.
Should go without saying, but you better be truly in love with the person you have kids with. If it's anything less (e.g. just a Netflix & Chill relationship), kids will break you immediately. Absolute ride or die in the trenches type of relationship, or don't even consider kids.

@ivy_roadmap @AJA_Cortes I just bought one on prime day! I’m excited to use it.
English

@AJA_Cortes Desk treadmill off Amazon.
Down 5lbs this month and energy way up!

@conservativelez @AJA_Cortes Did you see any weight impacts from the creatine? My dr, suggested doing every other day to start to try and avoid that.
English

Creatine made the most difference the fastest. The improvements in joy, optimism, organizing abilities, drive, and stamina were obvious in two or three days. I started creatine and collagen peptides at the same time, then a week later added EAAs. I figure the main results were from the creatine, while the benefits of collagen peptides and EAAs will show up in bone density on my next DEXA scan in two years. Your thoughts?

@hulu_support why is your service not working? I’ve restarted both tv and it won’t let me login! Keeps reloading or timing out

@LauraMiers Oh I don’t know. I came out of college with 80k in debt and it was all paid off in 2018. At approximately 15 years after I graduated. No double payments, so over paying, and took one forebearance in there when I lost my job for a few months.
English

Americans with student loans are out here begging people to listen because we are spending DECADES paying on these loans, but the balances never move. I have paid my entire loan balance from 2006 + $10,000, & I still owe more than the original loan. THIS IS CALLED USURY, & it is the norm. Debt consolidation scams are also rampant. My debt is on the lower end, but people are out here with 6 figure loan balances they will NEVER pay off. These aren’t loans, it’s crime.
Unfortunately, a lot of people—older Americans especially—have no idea this is our reality. Individuals are blamed, instead of the *extremely lucrative* student loans scam. People say, “Just pay your debts.” WE PAID OUR DEBTS, and then we paid them again, & again, & again. The balances never budge. I graduated college 20 years ago. End Stage Capitalism is SO bleak.

@InternetHippo Maybe it’s a Toyota thing. I went on the Jeep website and built a wrangler in 2021, and they just shipped it to where I wanted it, I negotiated terms and drove home with it. The sticker even said “made for me”, which I kept as a souvenir. Got everything I wanted.

@AngeJayne77 I’d recommend having a couple pairs to run in. I do my road runs in Hoka Bondi’s and my trail runs in Altra Olympus. I can also do up to a 10k in mizuno’s, I’ve found alternating helps tremendouslyz used to run in ASICS but when IM training found Hoka, and haven’t gone back.

@DonnaBarford My car insurance doubled just changing zip codes. We dropped ours and went with another to save. In Colorado and it’s a huge issue here as well.

@HeathCarley @HelenGuo_ Let me know what kind of businesses you are interested in and I can send you a curated list based on your location.
English

@ChristinaPushaw Bureaucratic red tape is what will slow it down. When the 35w bridge collapsed in MPLS, it took 13mo to re-build with millions in incentives for early completion. Harsher winters up there and they only lost 2 days of work the entire time.
English

@PicturesFoIder I have no idea. I walked out of college with 80k personally and have been out for 21 years and mine have been paid off in full for 6 now! Maybe they put them in forbearance? 🤷♀️ interest still accrued during that.
English

@InternetH0F I came out of college with just about $80k in debt to loans. I’ve been out 21 years and mine were paid in full in October of 2018. Interest rates 20-25 years ago on SL were 3-5% even with a variable rate.

@koopatroopa03 @Doug24Seven @WallStreetSilv It’s pretty sad though when I can go to my local Mexican resend get good food for less than that and the chips and salsa are still free!
English

@Doug24Seven @workplayTRImom @WallStreetSilv Yeah it’s pretty crazy to think that a fast food place is averaging over $15 a meal for 3, 3 meals and we split pretzel bites. But the economy is totally fine 😂 😂

What should a burrito bowl from Chipotle cost?
🔊 ... "my burrito bowl from Chipotle just cost me $19.82. Yes, I got guac, but that shouldn't make it $19.82. That is so much money for one bowl. What is happening?"
That is crazy. One person eating at a fast food place shouldn't cost $20 for lunch. Are these places just pricing themselves out of their market?
