@HTSCommodities @profarmer Summer weather in 2025 did fnish quite dry which is why we have drought in many areas now. The spring will perpetuate these conditions in the central United States, but summer should bring some better rain.

@worldwx today said drying in far southern Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and eastern Argentina for the next week will raise some concern for soybeans, corn and other crops because some of those areas are already too dry.

#NaturalGas and #HeatingOil #Futures took a flying leap during the past week on bitter cold U.S. weather. Be aware that the cold will become less intensive next week for a little while. Longer trends suggest more cold of lesser intensity will return in Feb. and Mar.

#Florida #citrus on the hit list for serious freezes Monday and Tuesday of next week. #Louisiana #sugarcane will also be impacted with a sixth freeze since October expected to nip at 2026 production potentials. Florida #sugar may also feel the impact.

Snow in west-central U.S. Plains Thursday into Friday to slow travel and stress some #livestock after record and near record heat over the past week. Some benefit will come from the snow, but for how long? Wheat areas will see more dry and warm weather.

@worldwx Domain mb. Light rain most of the day yesterday. Very windy overnight. Not much snow. I'd guess less than 2" very hard to tell

As in the past, if you are in southern Canada's Prairies or North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota please share your snow totals - if you dare to venture outside. Snow drifts have to be impressive as well....more then 3 feet for sure

@Plantmore1 @worldwx Will be able to tell more in daylight but I’m not sure we got all that much in New Brigden, Alberta either. Some big drifts thanks to the wind but little to no accumulation besides the drifts is what it seemed like in the dark. Hard to even guess at how much we got because of it.
