The year 2026 marks the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges. On March 29, the Global Link for Youth Actions China-Africa Youth Development Project Exchange and Communication Event was held at the China Youth Daily Youth Innovation IP Factory in Beijing. #APGYD 2025 NO.25 Planet One—Mboa Hub in Cameroon The “Planet One——Mboa Hub” project, led by Greenpeace Africa, provides support for youth actions in combating climate change. The program aims to boost the capabilities and self-esteem of young people worldwide by creating a platform for youth participation and advocacy. The Planet One program has established physical maker spaces in six different countries, attracting young people aged 15 to 25. To date, the program has drawn 21,000 in-person participants, assisted in launching 6,000 youth initiatives, and held 60 meetings with decision-makers. #WYDF #Youth2030 #Actnow

#APGYD 2025 NO.24 Young Eco Ambassador in Cambodia The “Young Eco Ambassador” project, led by Young Eco, aims to assist partners in designing and implementing impactful projects in environmental education and community development. It has produced environmental publicity materials and coordinated youth activities such as the Wonders of the Mekong Program. At the "Global Link for Youth Actions”, Zhang Xinran, co-founder of the Chinese AI startup ComindX, presented a solution for "exclusive AI employees." Her project aims to provide enterprises with secure, personalized AI services that guarantee data safety. She noted that the system can save users 80% of their time in related tasks, with plans to roll out customized AI assistants for the consulting and finance sectors in the future.

At the "Global Link for Youth Actions" held on March 29, Salsabil Hassan, a young representative from China State Construction Engineering Corporation @CSCECNEWS @CSCEC_EGYPT , guided participants on a virtual tour of Egypt's New Alamein City. Through online introductions and two-way interaction, the audience enjoyed an immersive experience of the achievements in China-Africa cooperation projects.

APGYD 2025 NO.23 Youth Environmental Skills in Lebanon The “Youth Environmental Skills” project, led by Recycler, aims to promote international cooperation and volunteer services to address environmental sustainability issues. The program has launched the “River Recycler Boat” to reduce marine litter flowing into the Mediterranean Sea, and developed “Recycler AI”, an AI-driven machine to identify recyclable materials. So far, the program has reached over 15,000 youth through environmental workshops and collected more than 12,000 kg of recyclables.

On March 29, the All-China Youth Federation hosted the "Global Link for Youth Actions" in Beijing, utilizing a hybrid online and offline format. Eight youth representatives from seven countries, including China, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal, Ethiopia, and Gambia, delivered insightful speeches centered on the theme "Digital Empowerment for a Better Future of China-Africa Cooperation." Seventy participants from over 20 countries attended the event and engaged in interactive exchanges. APGYD 2025 NO.22 Colombian Youth Biodiversity Network in Colombia The “Colombian Youth Biodiversity Network” project, led by Colombian Youth Biodiversity Network, is dedicated to various issues at different levels within Colombia. As of October 2024, this program has brought together more than 60 youth organizations from 16 states, representing a total of 600 Colombian youth. It has co-organized 3 national consultations and 3 summits, and under the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, has mobilized over 1000 young people to engage in biodiversity conservation.

Armando Vieira, Head Leader of PAMOSSI - VIVA SURDO, Angola. At the 2025 Acceleration Week for Global Youth Development, he presented a project enhancing self-sufficiency for Angola’s deaf community through targeted vocational training in electrical work, beauty services, and cooking. By mobilizing social resources, the program established a support system including internships, charity aid, and free sign language courses. It specifically empowered women through yogurt production training and a collaboration with "Miss Angola," reaching 150 participants to address structural barriers in education, employment, and gender equality.

Luan De Gusmão Medeiros Scliar, Executive Director of Brazil-Institute for Economic Development and Cultural Integration of the BRICS+ Countries. At the 2025 Acceleration Week for Global Youth Development, he presented a project fostering labor market inclusion through G20-aligned vocational training and an Industry 4.0 curriculum. By establishing enterprise-college dual-track bases, the program enhances youth employability in advanced manufacturing. It further boosts South-South cooperation via the BRICS Youth Summit, internship exchanges, academic qualification recognition, and the Eurasian Youth Innovation Center.

APGYD 2025 NO.20 “Yin Shan Hong·Sea Turtle Preservation”Program in China and Türkiye The “Yin Shan Hong·Sea Turtle Preservation”program, led by Shanghai Electric Power Co., Ltd., aims to prevent the interference from human activities with the inhabitation and reproduction of sea turtles. The program adopts various measures to protect sea turtle habitats. The water intake point of the project is designed more than 1000 meters away from this area. Through unremitting efforts, the number of sea turtle egg-layings in this area has remained at the same level as in previous years.

At the 2025 Acceleration Week for Global Youth Development, Amos Kimani from Kenya, CEO and co-founder of Tausi App, introduced his beauty-tech initiative focused on providing on-demand and personalized beauty services for urban professional women. Using an AI-driven platform to optimize client-beautician matching, the project addresses the challenges of unstable job opportunities for freelance beauticians while ensuring convenient access to high-quality services. With over 20,000 active users and 6,000 registered beauticians, Tausi App has significantly enhanced service accessibility, achieving a customer satisfaction rating of 4.8/5.

APGYD 2025 NO.19 Urban Community Domestic Waste Sorting Program in China The “Urban Community Domestic Waste Sorting” program, led by Shanghai Jigan Aifen Environmental Protection Technology Consulting Service Center, adheres to the core concepts of reduction, recycling, and harmless treatment. Since its establishment, the program has promoted garbage sorting in 343 residential communities, covering more than 200,000 households. In these communities, garbage reduction generally reaches 30%, and the sorted food waste and recyclables have been recycled and reused.
