@WordsNdFire Cole Perfetti was the consensus No. 5 pick (using Bob McKenzie's final ranking as the gold standard of scouting consensus.) Seth Jarvis was 18th. The Jets (and much of the NHL) thought they had a steal. Jarvis' development is the story IMO, not the pick. tsn.ca/nhl/draftcentr…

@WPGMurat Was there a reason you can recall as to why the Jets drafted Perfertti over Jarvis? I know it was seen as quite the turn for Perfetti to still be available at 10. Was he seen as the future 2c at a time we had a decent amount of wingers?

Bracket updates: ✅West: COL, MIN, VGK ❌West: ANA ✅East: CAR, BUF ❌East: PHI, MTL I will go with Colorado, Vegas, Carolina, and Buffalo in Round 2. That said, I'd kind of like a Ducks/Canadiens final so we can all rave about the advantages of playing in high-tax states.
