Beginning of the end of ownCloud 🤯 ✅Step 1: Offer a free upgrade to Kiteworks. ⌛Step 2: Force the free upgrade to Kiteworks. ownCloud users should consider migrating to Nextcloud to continue using #opensource software. #oss #freesoftware #owncloud #kiteworks #foss

Freemium or free trial, u must reach out to ur users when they sign up. A simple email sequence to help onboard & activate users is better than silence. The more u reach out to free users, the higher ur conversion (source in ALT). Do u reach out? #buildinpublic #indiehackers

Meet @V1ktor everyone! #buildinpublic He is possibly the biggest legend in this channel. If you don't follow him, I think it's best you click on his account now and hit the follow button 🤘 Thanks @V1ktor 🙏🏻

Here are a few actionable tips to help @george_kettle on his #buildinpublic #indiehackers journey. 1. Consider changing button colors to your orange color to make them stand out more (#F97316). 2. See screenshot for suggested sub-headline text. 3. Below the main screenshot, there appears to be a non-scrollable horizontal scrollbar. 4. When demo modal opens, it also has a scrollbar. 5. Remember ToS and privacy policy, and cookie banner to cover your bases. Privacy policy is important when you add third-party auth providers. Very good start overall 👏

Congratulations @goyashy, on your #buildinpublic journey! Looking at the website, here's some feedback: - Your "get started" button leads to a login form. It should lead to a signup form. - Next to the signup form, remind them they're getting 10 free credits per month. See this: - Your pricing page doesn't mention plans are monthly subscriptions, which could lead to refunds/disputes when users don't expect to be charged. - I would also try simplifying plans, at least for now, non-logged-in users. It's a bit too much, since you have a plan break to the next line. Try "Good, Better, Best" pricing strategy with 3 plans for new, non-logged-in users. You can present more options for logged-in users to upgrade. I assume someone who wants more than 1000 credits can purchase more? - For new users, "Upgrade" isn't the right call to action to sign up for a paid plan. It's right if they are already logged in. So for new users, "Get Started" or "Sign Up" would be more appropriate. Not everyone will sign up for a free plan. Make sure they lead to sign-up form as mentioned above. - You should also bring testimonials from the homepage to the pricing page. You need social proof on this page. - On the homepage, change "Feedback" to "Testimonials" or "Users Love Snapy", etc. Make this section stand out a bit. Right now, it blends in with everything, and I didn't even notice it at first. - Push the "Build in public" section towards the bottom, it doesn't need to be high up. Average users who don't know what "#buildinpublic" is won't care. Also, update MRR to $100 😉 Hope this helps!

Crossed $100 MRR on @Snapyai today. I know it's not a lot, but it is a validation of what you're doing has some demand. All of this is organic, and there's still a lot of work to do. But this does feel good :) #buildinpublic #indiehacker

@UnwantedLife_Me Right now, your paragraphs have bottom margin set to 1.5em. To double it, we set it to 3em. Here's the CSS: .entry-content p { margin-bottom: 3em; } Note, for this to work properly, you must remove previously added double spaces. Otherwise, those spaces will be huge.

Hi @wpbeginner. How do I stop my double space paragraphs from disappearing from my website. I'm really sick and tired of having to edit everything to put the double spaces back in my classic blocks so my website stays dyslexic friendly

@UnwantedLife_Me In WordPress, wpautop() function replaces double line breaks with paragraph elements. It doesn't really understand extra breaks well. The best, lasting solution is to add spacing visually using CSS to <p> elements. Are you able to add custom CSS to your site?
