Techniques employed to protect privacy have added a lot of fuzziness to data for small geographies like blocks. Use your common sense before using it at that scale.

Allegheny County & Pennsylvania #covid hospitalization & variants thread for 2021-07-19:
Allegheny reports 15 new cases.
Hospitalizations are +1 to 42.
ICUs are +0 to 12 (70% full).
7 day avg rises to 31 cases/day

@JamiePio_Pgh It seems like we're getting data from yesterday on the 30 day file, and the data from mid-June is being archived - is there somewhere you're not seeing data?

An really smart idea to encourage vaccinations: Report hospitalizations & deaths (both local & nationally) in 2 categories: in vaccinated people vs. in unvaccinated people. It would take about 10 minutes for benefits of vaccination to be obvious. (H/T to @UCSF's Matt Springer)
