My guess is the Knox extension will come in at that 3 year/$24 million dollar level that we have seen other "blocking" tight ends get. As with every contract, the important part will be in the structure and guaranteed.

This is a REALLY good WR draft class. I believe there are 4 'Tier 1' level, truly great prospects at the position this year. I'm telling you guys...I think Omar Cooper Jr. is one of those prospects. Right up there with Tate, Tyson & Lemon. He's that good, and I love all 3 of those other guys. Cooper is tough as nails, has great speed, is a super smooth athlete, has terrific hands, is electric after the catch & and is a high-end route runner. He's as close to the complete package as anyone in the class IMO. I've been very open to the idea of the Steelers trading up in order to get a top-end WR prospect in Round 1, but with 4 of them in this class I'm actually okay just staying put and seeing which one is gonna fall into my lap, because I doubt all 4 are going to be taken by the time PIT's pick is up at #21. Maybe move up a couple of spots once 3 of the 4 are off the board, but it really shouldn't be that difficult for PIT to come out of day 1 of the draft with a top-end talent at the WR position to pair with DK Metcalf for the next half decade, and they may not even have to trade up in order to get one.
