You guys remember when Elon Musk blamed “woke activist pressure” for advertisers’ mass exodus from Twitter, and not his own decision to paywalling verification, creating a space where anyone could pose as any corporate entity and say literally anything, resulting in tweets from “verified” accounts posing as weapons manufacturers saying they’d “investigate” a “human rights” issue, which snowballed into shareholders taking these tweets seriously and selling stock in droves?
