Well, yesterday I didn't do my daily drawing🥴, and today I didn't know what to do :p I'll be drawing a some of your characters in case you're interested, just post them in the comments!✨

If you're art blocked, don't keep trying the same thing. Try a new medium. Write about it. Put it into a song. Move your body. You can't always fix a stuck perspective from inside the same one.

@Kiraofthewind1 I love stupid fantasy names. I would rather they be on the nose or silly sometimes. If I need an orc name I just throw in random consonants. If I need a dwarf name it's something vaguely german/Norwegian + landform. Tolkien named three dwarves "ori, Doris and nori." Literature!

ngl, the "Orc city" jokes make me feel weird because I once (only slightly ironically) named one of the cities in my fantasy world "Cucumber City" Sometimes things have stupid names!

@Author_PCorrell @Riknight36 Today I learned the matrix was rated R. Were stsrting some hard 13s with our 11 yr old now. Mostly monster flicks like The Meg. Considering moving up to things like Lake Placid

@Riknight36 My older son was 12 (The Matrix) but my younger son saw T2 mentioned in a book & asked about it, so I let him watch T2 when he was 10. The violence is kind of cartoony and you don't see a lot of injuries or dead humans.

And somehow the biggest card game fumble of the month is this one. Hat is unbelievably dedicated and thoughtful and knowledgeable and just all the great things. Hearthstone is a much worse game without him representing players and creators from the inside.

I don't know what to say about Marvel Snap. I've tried really hard to give feedback and help Second Dinner find a path to players, tried to give an ear and a voice to players and other creators, tried to give the game its chance to shine for being so much fun despite all the frustration. I even gave to charity to hopefully infuse a tiny little bright spot into all this. But the game just takes and takes and takes. The Snap team's message today indicates that won't be changing, and I fear it might be getting even worse. I'm tired. I just want to have fun playing goofy decks for you all. I guess I'll keep doing that for a while? I'm sorry I can't do more right now. I tried.

Let's flip the script on this Kid Omega fiasco. I just donated the ad revenue from my Kid Omega video to the charity Child's Play, and it'd be amazing to get them some $100 donations in honor of Kid Omega (or of course anything you feel good about giving). Here's a link: childsplaycharity.org If you didn't know, Child's Play was started by Penny Arcade (yes the dudes with the variants and bundles), and supports children's hospitals by providing games to kids. My wife was a nurse at our local children's hospital for 10 years and has seen the big impact this can have on keeping them happy and healthy for long hospital stays. Maybe we can make some sick kids lives a little better!

Today has been a win. I have: -cranked out 2200 words for a story -did a good amount of beta reading for a friend -got groceries and did laundry and dishes -still managed to find time for video games And the day's not over. Now I'm going to draw 😎

@Author_PCorrell UGH! You just don't GET IT. Obviously Zelda's genitals and /or birth sex were a HUGE part of the game they made for kids back in 1980 whatever. Its the same reason I'm still upset they cast Chris Pratt as Mario and not a genuine Italian/Japanese man
