@TeaRoseRock I don't even think of food when I'm in the room. Someone always had to remind me to eat. I get so focused and lost in story and character. But then I am like that at home in the writer or editing room too.

So, trying to break in becomes a lifestyle, a mindset, a religion with query and pitch rules. It all becomes habit, routine, a dream of a seat in a writers' room. Then a door opens. They wave you in. Will you pack a lunchbox? Or hope it's wheeled in? #screenwriting

@jamifairleigh @TeaRoseRock I still do the occasional lift if I feel the heart behind the ask. I wasn't always making films and living my best life. I get where people are, and I do my best to give back. This thread inspired me to do one today, actually.

@TeaRoseRock Looking for readers who are prologue skippers for public interrogations. 😬 PS, the writers lifts etc are all still there; most of us just have them muted. 😉

As a tribe of writers, we've evolved. No longer do I see writers' lifts, hashtag swamps or people begging for just one more follower to hit an even number. What would you say are now the latest tweeting trends?

@SearatNybbas @TeaRoseRock It always gets under my skin-the self-righteous hand slap. Some people/writers come to SM at different stages of life, ages, careers, & success & do the best they can to navigate an unknown world. You can get lost & make mistakes until you find your footing. *Kindness 1st!*

@cacklingcat1 @TeaRoseRock This reminds me of a study my father-in-law did years ago. He's a Jungian Psychologist. It was on how human nature is geared toward anger & how much easier it is to incite a riot than peace. For someone who loves everyone & everything and finds the good always, it stuck with me.

@TeaRoseRock Recently? There are a lot of gatekeepers and rage bate posts in my thread. Writers hating on their readers for some reason 🙄 Then again, I read something once that said algorithms are programmed to feed you the angry stuff. Apparently, you rage read longer.
