📌 To mark our 50th anniversary, we’ve digitised the full run of Workers Power journal — all eight issues from 1975 to 1978 — and made them available online to read and download. The archive includes the founding Left Faction statement after expulsion from the IS, debates on party, the short-lived fusion with the AWL, fascism and anti-fascism, Portugal, China after Mao, Eurocommunism, women’s liberation and much more. A useful archive of the revolutionary left in the 1970s, and of the arguments that shaped our politics. 🔗 Read and download: workerspower.uk/workers-power-…

The influence of the far right in an embryonic movement against the cost of living crisis must be denounced and rooted out at the earliest opportunity. This means fighting to bring the organised working class into action around demands that improve living standards for all. workerspower.uk/ireland-fuel-p…

BREAKING - @zarahsultana exercises Parliamentary Privilege to expose the unjust nature of the Filton 24 re-trial. UK press has been court ordered not to publish these details. “If convicted, they and 18 others will be sentenced as terrorists, but the jury will not be told that”

@VeritasPrimor @MaddisonW92 Dead wrong. Conference voted for a whitelist of d/m organisations. This proposal is a blacklist. Funny how anti-socialist landlords are welcomed but socialists are kicked out!

@wrkrspwr @MaddisonW92 It wouldn't overturn the conf motion, its literally what we voted for. Read it again It said any d/m arrangement would need to be sanctioned by the CEC then ratified by members at conference. It was never some automatic thing. Which couldn't work even if that was the motion

Your Party’s Central Executive Committee is set to discuss a blacklist of socialist organisations and automatic ineligibility rules that would exclude any member of a group with a national political membership structure. These measures would overturn the dual membership rights explicitly written into Your Party’s founding constitution and endorsed by its inaugural conference. The CEC has no mandate to impose them. The prospect of a new working class party generated enormous enthusiasm among hundreds of thousands of people looking for an alternative to Labour’s austerity, warmongering and class collaboration. That potential has been squandered by the people who now control the party’s apparatus. workerspower.uk/statement-your… workerspower.uk/statement-your…

This excellent pamphlet provides readers with a quick guide to the conflict, its background in the revolution of 2018-19, and how the solidarity movement can intervene. Its conclusion that the popular resistance to military rule must not side with either General Adelfattah al-Burhan’s Sudanese Armed Forces or Muhammad Dagalo, aka Hemedti’s Rapid Support Forces is undeniable. workerspower.uk/review-sudans-… workerspower.uk/review-sudans-…
