Kenya Obstericians and Gyanecologists Society (KOGS) opposes expansion of scope of practice for Clinical Officers (COs) to perform Caeserian Sections without requisite training. KOGS states that these procedures require highly specialized training, rigorous and continuous competency assessments, and strict adherence to globally accepted medical and surgical safety standards.

The news of 18 Women police recruits chased out of Kiganjo police training college because the FELL pregnant is devastating.Kicking them out is WRONG rather they should be deffered. They fell pregnant yes; it's not a crime. It's a blessing ! I request the police incharge to issue them with deferment letters to secure their slots . I have written to that effect . Even those who fall pregnant as minors have a second chance ! Every woman reading this should support me in this ! @kipmurkomen pls intervene. @KEWOPA @MarthaKarua @crawntrustkenya @UNWomenWatch @EJSCenter @ReproRights
