I’ve always bought iPhones and always from Apple direct or alternatively from Best Buy or Costco and I think once from Fry’s. So I’m trying to buy a brand new Samsung Fold 7 locally here and the price variation is outstanding. Up to a million naira. I’m hearing new terminologies like “Non Active” and “Repacked”. So my question is for someone like me that just wants a brand new factory sealed phone at discount price, where do you go? Thanks.

No matter how sweet your music is to the ears, no matter how culturally relevant it is, once you use it to promote oppression, corruption, greed, bestiality, mass murder, genocide and incompetence, I make a hard choice and refuse absolutely to consume it. I will similarly refuse to consume the product of ANYONE that uses the platform of their talent to support evil. It is a sacrifice worth making, no matter how insignificant it is in the overall numbers of said artiste.

I am deeply disturbed by the unwarranted murder of a serving NYSC corps member Abdulsamad Jamiu, by the Nigerian Army. This young man was brutally murdered in his own home, inside his own room after army personnel scaled his fence to gain access, and the Nigerian Army has released a pitiful statement admitting to the death but denying the events and circumstances surrounding it, showing once again that their agency cannot move away from false narratives. This brings back painful memories of the Lekki Toll Gate massacre for me, where the same institution denied involvement despite clear evidence. The army has allowed itself to be a tool of injustice and intimidation rather than peace and protection. Samad must get justice Those personnel who murdered him must be publicly named and prosecuted. Nigeria cannot continue to operate like a jungle.
