AOC says we shouldn’t be using taxpayer money to build Trump’s ornate castle/ballroom while people are struggling to pay for healthcare and rent. Raju: Would you support authorizing the new ballroom? AOC: No. The president demolished the East Wing of the White House, a historic jewel of the American people, and he started to build this ballroom long before any incident. He also promised the American people that this was going to be built with private dollars, so the idea that they are trying to change the rationale for this doesn’t add up. The White House long had facilities for hosting, which also included the East Wing of the White House prior to them bulldozing the crown jewel of the American people. I don’t believe, in an era when they are jacking up costs, when they’re gutting everyone’s healthcare, and when people cannot afford their rent and their mortgages, that we should be using our treasure to build an ornate castle on a scale that is unprecedented and unbelievable. I’m sure that anybody who is against waste, fraud, and abuse would agree with me on that.

There is no legal expectation of privacy when standing outdoors in plain view. ​The Assault Threat: In a desperate bid to shut down the cameras, the woman physically aggressively approached the auditors, prompting responding law enforcement to explicitly warn her that touching them or their equipment constitutes criminal assault. ​The "Citizen's Arrest" Delusion: Refusing to back down, she repeatedly demanded that officers initiate a citizen's arrest against the cameramen.
