Bass and distortion are things that have never been able to satisfy me 100%, until today. Parallax X from @NeuralDSP solves every problem in that regard. What a brilliant idea. imagine how the bass would have sounded in old recordings that didn't have the possibility to use this

@blakepr @Em_TeeGee @thequietfish the current ban system will always be controversial. Completely nullifying a card should be the last option. Are you not considering a new system where nerfs and buffs via errata should be used more often than a ban? For example: The One Ring being conditioned to 1 copy per deck

All rounds reaching 5 turns, which makes the already long tournament at least two hours longer, all thanks to the Riddler. This card makes the tabletop experience unbearable. I even saw games lasting over an hour ending 0-0 RT and Lmk if you've experienced this too! BAN RIDDLER

@wzanotti Not gonna lie I thought this was a standard issue so this makes a lot more sense, but I definitely think there are other issues with modern as a format in general, and I think riddler would be probably fixed after the rest of the issues.

@nickkrillin Ah, I got you. But as I mentioned in another response, I've also seen great and fast players having timing issues with the deck. The Jeskai build is extremely resilient, and Riddler is the glue that holds everything together. Arena and Riddler are a big problem in Modern already

@wzanotti I'm fully aware of a round time issue. I felt the same way about the legacy top ban and modern kci ban. Magic players just need to learn to play better and faster in general, not you specifically

@sebastianpozzo Yes, you are right, but the point is: bad players are sitting at the first tables being carried by the resilience of this card, similar to what happened with The One Ring. But I also saw good and fast players having the same problem with this deck, especially in mirror matches.

Disagree... this has been a problem forever. The thing I dislike the most about competing at a RC or lower level is that sometimes your opponent takes 80%+ of the time and you can't do anything about it. No, calling a judge only makes things worse.
