Justin Wrobleski has faced the minimum through seven - the only hiccup being Jorge Polanco's fifth-inning single, which was erased on a double play. He's only up to 72 pitches. Just a sad offensive performance by the Mets.

David Peterson has been flirting with trouble since the first batter of tonight's game, and it finally bit him in a big way on Andy Pages' three-run homer in the third. Peterson's ERA is 7.27. The Mets haven't scored in their last 14 innings. Different stadium, more of the same.

@MattOLearyNY Adding at the deadline was the real mistake. I said it before the deadline and after, the prices for players were insane and not taking advantage of that for a team clearly overachieving would be a mistake. Schenn is fine but this roster was more than 1 player away from a cup.

I know they overachieved preseason expectations but going out sad after adding at the deadline and being in a playoff spot the majority of the season is real tough #Isles
