Stepped out of my comfort zone and went to a concert alone, and I had the best time 🙌🏼
@ReneTamez10 I’m pretending those lights I saw when I turned around were all for you 🤍 life is a little less bright without you earth side.
@LucasBotkin Thanks for help putting it on and the prizes were insane; if you ever need help in the test/automation world give me a shout 👍 great meeting you
Driving back from a weekend of watching some of the best snipers/precision shooters in the world do their thing at the event my new company helped put on. Life is good.
For those unaware, SpaceX has already shifted focus to building a self-growing city on the Moon, as we can potentially achieve that in less than 10 years, whereas Mars would take 20+ years.
The mission of SpaceX remains the same: extend consciousness and life as we know it to the stars.
It is only possible to travel to Mars when the planets align every 26 months (six month trip time), whereas we can launch to the Moon every 10 days (2 day trip time). This means we can iterate much faster to complete a Moon city than a Mars city.
That said, SpaceX will also strive to build a Mars city and begin doing so in about 5 to 7 years, but the overriding priority is securing the future of civilization and the Moon is faster.
It sucks for all the TSM boys since they are an insane team and all super talented and deserved to be signed after their performance but why do people think an org would keep a team for 6 months without an in person event?
The bigger issue is that we have 3 LANs now and they are spread out within a 6 month window.
Unless you’re with an org with endless funds, it makes no sense from a business standpoint.
This also isn’t a shot at ALGS or anything because at this point in year 6, we should be grateful that we have LANs.
I do of course wish there was more LANs because match point finals is the best thing in esports and it’s super fun to watch/play.
