@svyraweb @DarkGoomi It's also just like if the buyer has a budget they aren't going to spend outside of that budget either. Everything works on an algorithm and this in the end will just show your listing to people who can't pay for it anyway. Lose lose

Hi she hates artists so don’t take her seriously Product total price is not the same as base fee. VGen and PayPal don’t charge us a % of base fee, they charge % of final price with add ons and everything. This is just utilizing VGens calculator to get the % of final price

No one is saying lower the price, they are saying be honest about what you actually want for it. This feels sammy to the buyer and does not feel like you are transparent. If you want 120$ for your vtuber targeted listing do not list it at 40$ with a 50% and 5% fee elsewhere

Look this also completely messes up the ability to set price range sliders. This will not help you get sales and only shows your art to people who don't have all these fees in their budget. Buyers are getting frustrated with what looks like a false listing.

I feel like whenever people raise a valid point for things like these, it always gets dismissed as "hate". It is off-putting when advertised price does not have other charges added to base amount and well against paypal tos too lol

@svyraweb @DarkGoomi That and usually you can set sliders for price ranges. This completely messes that up and shows out of budget items to the buyer and it's really annoying looking into listings I already know are out of range and that's why I set that slider. Showing your listing to the wrong ppl

@svyraweb @DarkGoomi Yeah I'm just saying as a BUYER these are the listings I skip. These are the listings a lot of us skip. You can get mad at other artists saying something but that won't change that buyers are feeling it to.

@DarkGoomi personally i think it comes off as false advertising, if your putting ur base as $20 then adding on $10 in because of fees then the price should of been listed as $30 — it’s heavily proposed that if artists are scared of missing out on money due to platform fees, to include it

@exisbread Yeah as a buyer I skip out I don't sell art but I buy a lot of it and buyers are getting super exhausted with this and let's face it there is a lot of market to choose from. As a buyer this and the 50% mono fees this makes me feel scammed

No one can tell you what to do on your own Stream, use ai or don’t use ai. Support artists and editors or don’t. It’s your content. All I know is I had 100 people in my stream today say that they would leave a stream as soon as they found out ai was being used🤷🏼‍♀️ Everyone knows the majority of creators frown upon ai usage (as they should) So if you are someone using it on your streams, let’s not come to the internet to bitch and complain if you lose viewers and some supporters because of it🫡
