@falcomer The Bukkit Team didn't keep the forums alive. They all quit a decade ago. The forums were kept alive by curse, most likely because of contracts with Mojang, the owners of Bukkit.

A while ago, it was announced that the Bukkit forums will "shutdown". The decades of content on the forum, and a place where many server owners, even til this day, go to to find answers about specific issues they're facing will NOT be going anywhere, and it'll just be made read only. (Craft)Bukkit was sunset a while ago, during the DMCA era, and almost all operations were picked up by the team at Spigot, and further enhanced by the team at Paper. As a result, many of the newer developers and server owners started using their respective channels to seek answers, rather than Bukkit. This was inevitable, and I applaud the Bukkit team for keeping everything online, and allowing users to still post, up until this day This marks a sad farewell to the pioneer of servers as we know them today!

@luke_lafr just watched WAN and you said you are waiting for the Linux handheld, i.e. steam deck two. Another option could be the ZOTAC zone 2, they have a partnership with Manjaro

@xMiniDiggerx ngl i wonder if it’s partly because my site is a different user intent, despite mostly covering the same sorts of demographics. like people use desktop computers to download plugins/server software, but mobile devices to do research etc

i was just debugging why something was 100000x slower in my production Vite build than my dev server, and it turns out it was the polyfill for private class properties??? honestly shocked that such an innocuous feature's polyfills can tank performance like that

@the_me4502 Interesting, we configure our config based on the stuff we see in our analytics and don't have to go back that far

@xMiniDiggerx i use Vite’s default browser support (minimum versions being the ones that support ES Modules). you’d be surprised the actual browser ages i see on my site, even requiring ES Modules gave up 5% of traffic, even small bumps from here drop way more

@KenneyNL @OriginalFunko Isn't the registrar to blame here? This is a wrongful (overly broad) claim that shouldn't have been acted upon like they did. My registrar just forwards me abuse mails like that with request for comment.

This is terrible news for a lot of indie developers that rely on Itch.io (me included). It's a shame that companies like @OriginalFunko can be so aggressive 'protecting' their brand even when it means hurting thousands of innocent indies. Boo.

@falcomer Mojang bans idiots like that dude all the time. Most idiots know better to cry about it online because they know it was a legitimate ban, that guy just seems extra idiotic. He knows exactly what he did and the ban is deserved. Most likely only temporary too.

It's weird because I thought this was just a shelved addition lost to time; I don't think I know anyone who's actually been affected, weird that they actually went through with it
