Liberty priced themselves out so 3 and 4 got shipped out there. 5 and 6 were aided by geography and how it didn’t make sense to go out there. Salem is cheap but not the solution for all 6

@Hayes_BHCSports You can play at home as long as you can hold the capacity limit for your class. Class 2 is the only classification that doesn’t cross bracket so the matchups should alternate in all other classes.

@SuperEricRogers Some folks just aren’t organized when it comes to getting information out. VHSL lets the regions handle region business they only say send your two teams to the state tournament and we’ll take over from there.

With Glenvar's loss, it's just the third time ever there was no undefeated team since the State Playoffs began in 1970.
Only in 1979, 2001 and 2025.

#2 - Great stat my man @xStatVAx looked up and passed on to me that this marked the FIRST season since 1979 that there was not a single undefeated State Champion in VHSL Football. That year, Southampton, Parry McCluer & Petersburg won crowns. Even more amazing in 6 classes.

@CoachSherm5 @CoachLoveless15 @VHSL_ Not a VHSL decision. It’s a decision by the schools. In my 8 year’s as an AD the one time it came up it was obliterated in a vote by the schools. While I’m sure most class 4-6 schools would be in favor class 1-3 is going to be hit or miss. That won’t be enough schools to pass.
