No surprise, but the 2026 Minnesota Legislative Session ended with zero progress towards sports betting legalization. My hope for 2027 is that Wisconsin mobile sports betting starts later this year and lawmakers decide that Minnesotans giving tax revenue to WI is a bad look. 💸

So this is not true. Not always. Especially for game lines, spreads, and totals. This is why paying attention to the hold % on each specific bet is VERY important. If the hold % is near 0%, there’s a very high likelihood that you’re staring down the barrel of a profitable bet on one side or the other. Generally, especially for popular games/markets, you’re going to see “sharp” action on both sides. So this mindset below is stopping a lot of bettors from taking advantage of profitable bets. Context matters here. High hold + sharp money on only one side generally i would agree with you here…. But simply is not true 100% of the time
