Think about what? Generally speaking, it's predominantly visual where I imagine myself doing something somewhere. Years of Solidworks has also conditioned me to think about objects in focus in a similar kind of workspace. There's also taste and smell when I think about cooking. Sound, feeling, all senses might be involved in thought but I tend do default mostly to seeing things, almost trance like.

When you think, what medium do you tend to think in? Would be very curious to hear how you’d describe the base unit(s) of your thoughts and how they feel to you. I assumed what happens in my head was similar to everyone else but have been surprised by how varied thought can be.

The episode is completely finished and ready to release… but YouTube ad revenue has taken a major hit recently as advertiser focus shifts heavily toward global conflict coverage. Originally I planned to release this episode without a sponsor because they weren’t able to keep up with the pace we were moving. Unfortunately that’s no longer realistic given the level of time investment involved from multiple people behind the scenes. Despite viewership performing almost exactly the same as the previous episode, ad revenue has dropped by nearly 60%. A year ago I probably wouldn’t have said anything about this. But it’s becoming increasingly clear that YouTube’s ecosystem is rapidly shifting toward high-volume AI-generated content. If that trend continues, genuinely human-made content will become harder and harder to sustain. Many of your favorite creators — especially those producing deeply researched, time-intensive work — may simply disappear because the economics stop making sense. And I’m pretty sure I’m speaking for a majority of the Team Space community when I say that. For now, we’re going to keep doing what we do for as long as we possibly can. hot take: CAD tutorials teach you the software but not how to think I watched hundreds of hours of SolidWorks tutorials in college. none of them taught me that real manufacturing has constraints that will ruin your beautiful model. learned that the hard way when my first injection mold came back wrong
