I've been a little quiet on this app, but last month I had to say goodbye to my two best friends, within 2 weeks of one another. Wesley and Ellie were best friends, companions, and soul mates. They kept me going and were my rock for 11 years. I miss them and will do so forever.

A little update on Hunter Last Wednesday, our world changed in an instant. We were on the couch about to watch Gen V when Hunter suddenly went into cardiac arrest. It was the scariest moment of my life. I called 911 and started CPR until help arrived. On the way to the hospital, his heart stopped again, but the paramedics brought him back after two shocks. He’s been in the hospital ever since, heavily sedated while doctors ran endless tests to figure out what caused it. Seeing him like that so still, so fragile was heartbreaking. But little by little, he’s been waking up, fighting through it with so much strength. We finally got some answers from his cardiologist, and tomorrow he’s scheduled to have an ICD implanted a device that will help protect his heart moving forward. These past few days have been overwhelming, but also full of gratitude. I’m thankful beyond words for the doctors, for the first responders who acted fast, and for everyone who’s sent love, prayers, and messages our way. We’re taking it one day at a time. If you’d like to help, the best thing you can do right now is keep Hunter in your thoughts, share some love, or just send positive energy our way. It all helps more than you know. 💚
