So I saw The Odyssey. I really wanted to like it, but man I just didn’t. I never felt like I was watching an Epic. The acting wasn’t there for me. The dialogue wasn’t there for me. The set design wasn’t there for me. The story telling wasn’t there for me. Feels like Nolan’s worst film, for me.

If I wanted to buy a new custom pre-built PC right now with a solid graphics card (I don’t need the BEST) realistically how much would I be paying? I bought my current PC in 2020 and I think it’s almost time for an upgrade. I’m running a 3080 and the thing gets loud as hell when I’m working lol. I mainly use my PC to edit videos, photos, graphic design, and game maybe once a week. Just curious how much I should expect to pay, even just a ballpark amount. I truly have no idea.

I saw the Odyssey on the non IMAX screens last night and it was great, but I remember multiple times feeling like the shots were so zoomed in, especially fight sequences which is kinda a bummer :/

@RobbieBarstool Yes the loudest shit ever, the entire theater felt like it was going to cave in during the storm boat scene

I also think The Odyssey was the loudest movie I’ve ever heard in a theater tonight. Does Nolan make the theaters crank his shit to 11? Never forget how loud the gunshot analysis scene was in The Dark Knight.
