Loving the comments... this is what happens when a franchise expands to other media, and people don't bother to pay attention to it. If they did then they would know that in the beginning the ODSTs hated the Spartans. Most had hatred toward chief because he hurt/killed them ( in self-defense).

Voting for backward compatibility on PC has been live for less than 24 hours, and some interesting trends are already starting to emerge. • The top 10 most-requested games are all from XBOX 360, even though support for XBOX 360 titles on PC hasn't officially been announced. • 9 of the top 10 are first-party titles, including Fable, Gears of War, Banjo-Kazooie, and Lost Odyssey. • Sonic Unleashed is the only third-party game in the top 10. • Only 3 Original XBOX games appear in the top 20: Ninja Gaiden Black, Panzer Dragoon Orta, and Dead or Alive 3. This isn't entirely surprising. Voting is currently limited to games that are already backward compatible and digitally available, and there are far more eligible XBOX 360 titles than Original XBOX titles.

So far halo campaign evolved is pretty fun, sometimes some of the animations are wonky

@Frenchlet1 @Wufgang_XD The only other service that has better consumer protections (no DRM) is GOG. Steam still has some pretty good consumer protections (refund policy, ability to download games taken off the store, frequent high quality sales, etc). Compare that to what Sony is offering....

i both agree that this is upsetting but i still need to make the reminder that the biggest video game library in the world, steam, entirely runs on this model

@Krishna39019574 @IGN That'll never happen, PC and XBOX are intertwined as windows is owned by Microsoft. It's better for it to stay this way too as there is nothing of value gained by not putting their exclusives on PC. Not for them, not for us, the consumers

I never thought a huge portion of gamers would actively fight on Sony's behalf. Even if you prefer digital games, why are you against those who are demanding physical discs? It's not like we're asking for digital games to be removed. If you don't want to fight with us, then at least don't fight against us.

The pushback isn't just Twitter, it's everywhere, and the longer people go after them, the more reputational damage is inflicted on Sony. They need to act eventually

And like I said, all this noise could at least result in something because it's not just Twitter. If we get better consumer protections for digital goods, we won't need physical copies at all.

Do you truly believe it'll be overturned because of a lot of Twitter pushback, though? Like I imagine all of this was just baked into the expectations for Sony. I understand wanting your voices to be heard and letting out anger... but like I said, its not a fight at this point. The time to fight this was a decade ago when digital was starting to gain lots of steam.

@AlbionHero @KindredBlade That's the problem though, everyone is just accepting it. You can't make the world a better place by accepting the shitty things within it. The least Sony can do is compromise by making digital ownership more consumer friendly, but they won't budge one bit

@KindredBlade There is no fight though. Sony announced they're ending physical production and repurposing the factory. Telling you that they're not going to change their mind isn't supporting Sony or fighting against you... It's accepting reality.

I have no problem supporting a transition when they're GROWN UP because they at least UNDERSTAND what they are doing.

The difference between Hunter Schafer and Elliot Page is that she transitioned when she was 14, and he transitioned when he was 33. This is exactly why getting HRT or blocker to trans kids ASAP is so important, and why the doctors who make them wait years for no reason are evil.
