It's not that Biden can't win a margin-of-error race in an highly polarized environment where polling errors happen. He can. It's that a clear majority of voters who don't like Trump keep saying that Biden isn't their preferred choice and not our best chance. And he still has a few weeks left to listen to them.

@tucker_id Well, if the construction is dictated by interest rates then I guess I understand why its such a mess. But isnt there someone who is supposed to manage the growth? It feels like every project in all the queues got approved at the same time on a friday at 4:45pm

@xantialcelay How do you tell someone they can't start construction? Much of this is timed with interest rates, time to market etc. The city would have to subsidize if they told someone they could not build when they want. They could have more stringent mitigation plans though.

@tucker_id I like the growth. But that doesnt mean I cant complain about the construction. What they’ve done to downtown Boise is a crime. Maybe dont take on 5 or 6 major projects at the same time if it’s going to suffocate the entire downtown area?

Everyone's complaining about the construction in downtown Boise but there are at least five or six major building construction projects. This is good. It helps the local economy and infills parking lots.
