Yesterday, Xavier’s cross country team departed 16th Street for Portland, Oregon. It’s the end of an era on 16th Street. Yesterday, head football coach Chris Stevens ‘83 announced his resignation after 32 years coaching the Knights and 22 years as varsity head coach. The winningest coach in Xavier football history, Coach Stevens led the Knights to four CHSFL championships, five division titles, and nine Turkey Bowl wins during his storied career. We look forward to celebrating him and his remarkable career this spring.
