Recently read a Substack — which I can’t find… — arguing that the shoddy state of the humanities is due to the decline of literary criticism: just as the absence of predators allows abominations to evolve, we now live in an age of literary abominations.

@joodalooped do my best not to pay it lip service (I'm allergic to the word n*ce 😤) and go creative w my praise. It's about being direct, having fun and developing a voice of my own when reading something unfamiliar, dense or challenging.

I started mine in aug of last year on inoreader. it took fucking forever to sift through soooooo many blogs. it's not the only resource but it's one of the big ones. i also have a dedicated email for (2) sec. related newsletters alone + (3) twitter. the backlog adds up quick...
