The dichotomy between *either* Christianity or Islam is a false one peddled by culture war grifters in my opinion, and there are other options which are preferable to all involved. Laws and policy should not be impacted by any religion.

2. Woke academics? A plurality of Brits believe Reform voters are racist (YouGov).

Reform voters are racist apparently. As soon as I saw this insult to millions of British people (one of the least racist nations on earth) I suspected it was from an academic. It’s impossible to exaggerate how western universities became overrun with woke ideology

Give religions as a whole no power over government affairs. Religion should be solely a private affair with no place in policy platforms.

@Paul_Millard68 @mehdirhasan We should be secular. Church attendance has been dropping for decades. Britain is, by majority, NOT a 'Christian country'. I certainly don't want that label given all the negative connotations it now comes with thanks to American Christian Nationalism. We should free ourselves!

@mehdirhasan We want all illegal undocumented immigrants deported, we want all Islamists who threaten to take over the UK and impose Sharia law deported, Britain is Christian and we will make sure it remains Christian, Islam and Sharia belongs in the middle east, it is not wanted in Britain.

Newly elected Green Party councillor Eden Hills reportedly wiped large parts of their social media before campaigning.
Now posts like this are resurfacing.
Voters deserve to know who they are electing before ballots are cast, not after the election is over.
If this is the standard of candidate vetting, then the Green Party has serious questions to answer.
Would the public have voted the same way if they had seen this beforehand?
