Ive talked about how gothic horror is a fear of the remains of a now dead decadence of the past, ie haunted castles or old haunted mansions. Our modern version of this is evidently empty shopping malls and anamatronic pizzaria arcades

@TheMindScourge i also feel like its easier to get keep a free flowing conversation while doing activities like this. even just doing smth where you can walk around, over sitting stationary in a restaurant is better

Honestly this is not a bad idea
A guy who is willing to do some yard work - especially for a first date - is probably fairly interested in you (otherwise he’d just stay home) and also not afraid of doing chores around the house

@PaulSkallas 1982-2014 are very good, but the 2018 and 2022 logos are great too, just not as vibrant. I think a lot of the criticism is just coming from ppl who grew out of enjoying the world cup. the 2026 logo is trash though. America, of all nations, should be showing the world how its done

I know it's a trivial issue in the grand scheme of things, but not enough is made about how awful the World Cup logos have been since 2014. What used to be colourful and inventive has now become standardised and sterile. Much like football itself.

When I watch videos like this I think about how much pre-historic warfare would have been just skirmishes, and how those classical states with the capacity and cohesion to launch total war (e.g. Assyrians, Macedonians and Romans) must have been at a massive advantage.

Europe needs a real right-wing alternative, one that is not pro-US, Russia or China. One that will just focus on improving the standards of living for Europeans, introduce a strict migration policy, reduce bureaucracy, and focus on defence spending.
