People always ask me, "Mikey, why do you call the book you're working on 'NOVEL 13' instead of its title?" and I always answer, I'm glad you asked that question. You see, back in the day, my published novel THREAT VECTOR had its title stolen by that motherless whore Tom Clancy. Two years after it was published. Normally, an author would get sued for that. But we were at the same publishing house and he was the 800 lb. gorilla. But the second reason is that I've intentionally left it untitled because of the title flap with AMBUSH OF THE DRAGON (coming out March 5). I'd originally entitled it, THE HOUR OF OUR DEATH and then trusted narrator, editor and test reader @joecourtemanche said that was a stupid idea, because AI would consider it a book about religion. I was going for one of those Hemingway-type titles like FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS. But it was not to be. Now, ironically, I hate dragons in fiction. And yet, for AMBUSH OF THE DRAGON, a dragon showed up in the title and also on the amazing cover art by @xeviuss. Thing is, my blind spot about dragons kept me from seeing the obvious title. You see, AMBUSH OF THE DRAGON is partly the story of an encounter between the Royal Navy Astute-class submarine S120 Ambush and the Chinese PLA Navy Type 093B attack submarine Changzheng 20 Dragon. Thanks to Joe for helping me see clearly. Anticipating the same thing here, once @supersonic and Joe read NOVEL 13, I'll give them my title nominations and we'll see which one stacks up. We may talk it out on an X-spaces or even crowd-source it. And now you know...the REST of the story. Good day!

@xeviuss I know someone there. They believe he's in a side room which has an audio and video feed. I think the Judge will do his upmost to drag him in for the sentencing. We'll see. I'm all for strapping him to a chair and sticking a gag in his mouth.

Jamming a solo to a new song with real live drums. It makes such a huge difference than using a drum machine. I don’t think this is what I’ll play on the final version but I’m just having some fun with it! Cheers!

@maryboys1 @Dixonverse In only the last 12 months I have watched nearly every writer I work with dabble in AI for layout, character design etc. I'm all for it because I still get full $ to do my thing, no harm done But this feels like skipping half the steps to create a full product. Untenable 🤷🏻‍♂️

@xeviuss @Dixonverse In the FAQ it says he uses Midjourney. The art on the page is also clearly AI, looking at the divergence in styles and rendering detail.
