Yuri Hlodan, from the Ukrainian city of Odesa, a father of a 3-months-old daughter, Kira, and Valeria’s husband, died fighting for Ukraine against the Russian occupiers. His daughter and wife were both murdered back in April 2022 by a Russian rocket in their home, along with Valeria’s mother, Lyudmila, while Yuri was out for groceries. After his loss, Yuri went to serve in the armed forces.

Moreover, you’ve invited a russian onto your show to represent russia, whereas global sports officials at least make them take part under a neutral flag. The country that shells Ukrainian cities and kills Ukrainians should not be represented and invited in any show or sports while they are murdering people in another country. Russians filmed a terrible video of brutal beheading of a captured Ukrainian soldier. This is yet another monstrous crime of russian army and a violation of all conventions and moral principles of humanity.
