@xivarst

You've committed the cardinal sin of boring me. And so I retire to the shade.

@SnepOfTheWest That is very much the point. The whole goal is to demoralize and make it so everyone thinks this is normal. Its not this whole ideology is against human nature and is bringing nothing but misery as a result

@TheRealKitty019 I think the most comical part here is that you could bet that this same woman is for mass immigration from the middle east/africa. I would even take it a step further and say this woman would cover up rape gangs to keep importing said people.

If everything is rape, why should I even care? What’s stopping me from just taking it, if asking- and receiving- nicely will be called such anyways? You won’t like the answers to these questions, so I strongly suggest re-evaluating your worldview and what men you sleep with.
Jessica Pin@jess_ann_pin

Most casual sex that men have is rape and they know it. The definition is simple: sex without consent. And there is no real consent when consent is misinformed. They get away with it because women are trusting or blame themselves. Rather than condemn male deception, men condemn women for being victims just like they used to condemn women for getting physically raped. It’s the same pattern.

@dementialifter @TheRealKitty019 IDEALLY you want to set them up for success as much as possible. The extreme wealthy pay fortunes making sure their children have the best possible shot at success.

@dementialifter @TheRealKitty019 Even then its not viable. You shouldn't start your children in the negatives. If you throw them to the wolves at 18 they will be set back in some cases that set back costs them a chunk of their 20s. IF you want them to have healthy families you don't want them to lose that chunk

@HaruhiismOtaku @ArtGuy313578051 Its actually much worse then that. It would turn property or land into an untaxable asset. If that happens what are the odds that property is mass purchased and the cost of it shoots through the roof due to the demand and fixed supply. It will once again pull the ladder up

@TheRealKitty019 That is another thing I can't stand this whole throwing your children to the wolves thing. You aren't helping them build character you are crippling them and then proceeding to brag about how amazing you are by crippling them.

@xivarst Or the third; sheltered retards that don’t realize how sheltered they are. There’s a generation of boys they’re throwing out of the village and oh boy are we ready to burn it in response.

@texasrunnerDFW That isn't the only thing it would do. If all of a sudden property is not taxed what do you think massive corporations or the extremely wealthy will do. Immediately buy everything they can so they can have an untaxable asset.

44% of US homeowners are older than 60 She is effectively asking you to put 100% of the local county services tax burden on 56% of the people—people who are also still in the workforce paying income taxes, mortgages, and daycare tuition This is horrible policy

Young people are experiencing the Great Recession, and even worse, our experience borders on the Great Depression. That’s why Socialism is becoming popular, conditions are actually ruinous and nobody is addressing them adequately, if at all.

Aleph@woke8yearold

Anyone that thinks the economy is even close to as bad as it was during the Great Recession has lost their mind. Unemployment went over 10% and took 5+ years to return to normal. I think this is one reason there are so many leftist millennials

@FedUpMajority @AuronMacintyre You have no idea what that would do if you think this is a good idea. It would screw everyone who doesn't own property instantly. Over night the price of property would explode into unseen of levels. Why? So rich people can hide money legally.

@AuronMacintyre I agree that it's dumb of her to frame it as being about seniors, but I agree that property tax should be totally abolished. I shouldn't need to pay ever increasing rent to the state to continue to own the home that I worked hard to purchase.

@TerraDraca Most card games are VERY expensive. Yugioh MTG even pokemon all expensive to play. Most people who enjoy said games have switched to playing digitally its cheaper and you have access to more players.

@TheRealKitty019 @NEETzscheIDDQD Even if you did see some actual wealth transfer its basically too late for millennials anyways. Most of us are middle age. What will end up happening is all that money will either go to paying off debt. That wealth needed to come much sooner to maximize benefit.

All that "boomer wealth" is getting gobbled up by creditors, by the way. That's why re-mortgaging properties has been pushed so hard for the last 15 years; banks fully intend on getting every single single-family home they can.

@NEETzscheIDDQD And Gen Z will inherit wealth from Boomers or Gen X. It’s a cycle.

@politicalmath Really? I think it's simply importing cheap third world labor under conditions where your employees are legally prohibited from quitting for higher pay elsewhere.

@Cherrycanndy @PiratePatriot47 @reginaphilanjie Just move to a high crime area or an area with ZERO work near by. Oh and lets pretend gas isn't stupid expensive so if you go the remote location route you won't be crushed by gas prices.

@PiratePatriot47 @reginaphilanjie It’s so funny how fast right wing Gen Xers and boomers switch the argument from “Everything is actually cheaper than before” to “just borrow money or spend less if your wage isn’t enough” and finally to “just spend tens of thousands of dollars to move to the middle of nowhere”

My starter house was $120,000. Same exact house now is valued @ $442,000. Gas was $1.10. So no, they can’t buy that house no matter how much pbj, cheese sandwiches, or ramen they pack for lunch. Why are you all taking this so personally? Why are you denying reality?
Darren@RogueDarren

Zoomers on here are like "I'm 27 and can't buy a $400k house or afford to spend $50 on doordash, the system is rigged!" Like kid, I had 2 roommates till 29, and then 1 till 33 when I bought my own house. Cooked and meal prepped 90% of what I ate for 20 years. Y'all are bitches
