be careful. some will say NFT's are the only core infrastructure. supra in their break down of the issue said bonzo did not implement some stuff they recommended either so bonzo was not entirely free of blame here. on principal alone i dont believe in bail outs but in this case i firmly am against it. i would argue overall memejob alone has cost retail well over $9 million USD on that failed shit show.

I believe the difference is that lending is core to the overall ecosystem. NFTs aren’t core infrastructure to the ecosystem. Also, Bonzo went through the proper steps to make sure their code is legit. As I recall, something was wrong with the actual code of Sirio. Failed within days, with little usage. Bonzo was much more conservative, not trying to implement AI. I do recognize how this can get political though, and I don’t love that foundations can choose favorites. But I don’t know a better way. I think what was done was best for the overall Hedera ecosystem.
