@JEChalmers $250? How insulting. $5 per week does not even buy you a small cappuccino

@AlboMP Idiot. Migration needs to be cut, not tax breaks! Look at any inner east suburb of Melbourne, migration quadrupled the house prices in ten years, not local investors taking risks and making use of tax breaks. 🤡

Tax his land, tax his wage, Tax his bed in which he lays. Tax his tractor, tax his mule, Teach him taxes is the rule. Tax his cow, tax his goat, Tax his pants, tax his coat. Tax his ties, tax his shirt, Tax his work, tax his dirt. Tax his tobacco, tax his drink, Tax him if he tries to think. Tax his cigars, tax his beers, If he cries, tax his tears. Tax his car, tax his gas, Find other ways to tax his ass. Tax him good and let him know, After his taxes he has no dough. If he hollers, tax him more, Tax him ‘til he’s good and sore. Tax his coffin, tax his grave, Tax the sod in which he lays. Put these words upon his tomb, “Taxes drove me to my doom!” And when he’s gone, we won’t relax, We’ll still be after the inheritance tax.

Tomorrow’s Budget will be our most responsible and our most ambitious. It will support Australians through this global oil shock at the same time as we reform our economy for the future.

The NDIS, Superannuation and the CFMEU are the 3 biggest scams in Australia’s history. All of them created by the ALP and designed purely to steal the wealth from hard working Australians. The theft of our tax dollars is so great they have literally bankrupt the country. It’s about time this extortion racket comes to a stop!

Message to Jim Chalmers: Stealing from people's home-ownership profit, investment portfolios, superannuation, and income tax does not 'solve intergenerational wealth gaps'. It means parents have nothing left to give their kids - because the government took it all. It means young people have no reason to buy a house or invest in shares - because they know the government will take it all. And it means the retirement plan forced upon them by the unions will be gone before they die - because the government wants to take it all. Labor is CREATING INTER-GENERATIONAL POVERTY.

It’s getting harder for young people to get a toehold in the housing market and that’s driving some of our deliberations as we finalise our Budget. @sunriseon7 @TheTodayShow @abcnews

Scam Altman and Greg Stockman stole a charity. Full stop. Greg got tens of billions of stock for himself and Scam got dozens of OpenAI side deals with a piece of the action for himself, Y Combinator style. After this lawsuit, Scam will also be awarded tens of billions in stock directly. The fundamental question is simply this: Do you want to set legal precedent in the United States that it is ok to loot a charity? If so, you undermine all charitable giving in the United States forever. I could have started OpenAI as a for-profit corporation. Instead, I started it, funded it, recruited critical talent and taught them everything I know about how to make a startup successful FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD. Then they stole the charity.
X Freeze@XFreeze

Interesting how it works Elon puts up his own money, rounds up the absolute best AI talent on the planet, leverages every connection he has to secure serious resources, and launches OpenAI in 2015 as a pure non-profit explicitly created to develop AI for the benefit of humanity, with zero profit motive and open research Then the “team” decides they want the bag They push Elon out, take control, and quietly flip the entire thing into a for-profit machine All while preaching the same sanctimonious lines on repeat: “We’re still mission-driven!” “AI for the good of humanity!” “We’d never abandon our principles!” The ultimate betrayal: Elon got zero equity. Not a single share. He funded it. He built the foundation. He got nothing while they turned his non-profit into their personal cash cow This is the level of betrayal and hypocrisy we’re dealing with And for the record.... this lawsuit doesn’t put a single penny in Elon’s pocket. Any win goes straight back to the non-profit to restore the exact mission he founded

Most people over-estimate how much money they need to be happy As long as you can pay your rent/mortgage, have a semi-decent car and don’t have to stress about bills or expenses like groceries Then there isn’t any difference in happiness between you and the guy making $100k/month In fact the guy making $100k/month is probably more stressed out than you are Stop chasing money for money’s sake Make enough so you don’t have to worry about it, then do what you want with your life

To save the NDIS, we have to stop the rorts, waste and abuse. The scheme must be limited to the severely physically disabled and the care they need. Original forecasts said the NDIS would cost half what it is today. It needs to be returned to that before it sends the country broke.

BREAKING: A new review has confirmed that the NDIS has been systematically infiltrated by organised crime groups using threats of violence against disabled people. For the love of God, just nationalise the scheme - completely rip out all the fraudsters by just shutting down the NDIS private markets. This is a disaster. The current design of the scheme is a catastrophe and unfixable. You just cannot run disability welfare as a private market like this
