@RedNiche987 @mrjamesob Too true. The others are doing it because they love the taste of frog spawn and crickets though..

@wokinglass So I've always taken it be a big bluff. Even the government is like '(thumps fist on the table) We're going to send every asylum seeker to lovely safe Rwanda." Next breath " those money grabbing snow flake human rights lawyers are gonna stop us....ah well"

@mrjamesob Are these UK rules that are forcing this (and if they are, they're very probably in response to antics with our goods we've seen with French customs)? If so, we can change them. If they're French rules, why is that supposed to be our fault?

This is what ‘divergence’ looks like. A separate box & paperwork for every piece of cheese coming in to the U.K. from an EU supplier where previously the whole lot would be in one box.

This is a practice in Namibia where a bachelor is seduced by the sisters of his bride. If he gets an erection, the marriage is canceled due to believing he will cheat on his wife.

@mrjamesob This is like the bulk of your political arguments. Insulting disrespectful, and completely fictitious.

@DiedSuddenly_ I was happy to get the vaccine at the time. I'm in at-risk group for COVID but never caught it. I kind of thought the vaccines were risky, but a lot of people were dying, and the pandemic seemed to go away once the UK vaccination program took off. Hind sight is always 20/20....

@mrjamesob Is it a myth, an issue so heinously false that it needed debunking? And you're only witness to this is a (albeit prestigious and reverred) dead person. Credible.....

The myth of Rees-Mogg’s concern for & understanding of parliamentary procedure fell apart long ago. The late Queen could have told you that. It’s a national disgrace that he’s still indulged.

I’m not sure how obvious this is but as long as Tories who facilitated & championed Johnson continue to be treated like valid contributors to public discourse, our democracy cannot begin to heal. If they must be ‘booked’, they should be bombarded with evidence of their perfidy.

@LBC @clivebull Not really. First of all we're out now. Secondly we have a trade deal but British exporters find it difficult to get their goods through French customs. Remain say it's what we deserve. But a deal should be a deal. Plus the EU continues its power grab from its members.

Britain's future is outside the EU, Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has said, as he promised to make Brexit work. @CliveBull asks: is Keir Starmer being too pro-Brexit for you?

@mrjamesob And the remain side were so invested in the negotiation were they? Every day someone saying we're shooting ourselves in the foot, we're not big enough to manage on our own and that we deserved to be punished by the people we're negotiating with. You try getting a good deal.

Imagine being a Daily Telegraph reader & not only paying for the unhinged rantings of David Frost & Allister Heath but also believing that they bear even the slightest resemblance to reality. It's actually cruel.
steve richards@steverichards14

Important insight re Johnson’s reckless approach to negotiating deals..he was also in charge of the Brexit deal along with lightweight @DavidGHFrost ..so much given away to the amazement of those they were negotiating with..much ammunition for Labour if they dare to use it:
