Some performance optimizations were done in sogen.dev. MW3 now manges to reach 60 FPS or even more, while being fully sandboxed. Still a lot to optimize, but this is a major milestone. The game is playable now 🥳

@MFDOOM50892122 Make sure to reduce your distance and quality sliders in the game (30/30 max) because you are likely running into a CPU bottleneck (yes even with a 9800x3d). Upcoming updates to remix will improve that

@xoxor4d Sadly it's not playable ..... I'm on a 5080 and a 9800x3d and the game ran at like 40 FPS with dlss performance

@uncharteddork It comes with a custom fork of fusion fix because the original can cause some issues when paired with remix

@keemonade You do need a beefy GPU for this one obviously. CPU does matter a lot too because of the way rtx-remix works. I suggest setting the quality and detail sliders in the game to 30/30 and in the Alt+X menu, use medium preset with DLSS at Auto

tried to run this earlier and it genuinely ran at 15 fps on every settings preset

A new GTA 4 mod that completely overhauls the roads by utilising PBR textures has been released by modder Kaba. It’s been created to use alongside the RTX Remix mod - which adds path tracing to the game. Looks absolutely insane. The Rockstar community is incredibly talented.

Absolutely fuckin wild playing fully path traced GTA 4. The actual raytracing/PBR injections are running flawlessly in the diner, but as soon as I go outside my Ryzen 5950x is like "wtf is this shit how old is this fucking game"

@Strelok9899 Or the mod gets a single public release which isn't that good. Then they make a second version of the mod which is much better, they make a fancy trailer for it and then make it indefinitely work in progress and only available on Patreon. Every. Single. Time.

@rockingadith Hey, I'd suggest that you wait for the public release of the mod. It's only available to testers currently. While it isn't particularly hard to install, it might be a little confusing if you are completely new to pc gaming.
