I love being told that I have an irrational fear of a deadly virus by people who are afraid of immigrants, LGBTQ, brown & black people, working women, windmills, vaccines, electric cars, voting by mail, universal health care, environmental protections, higher wages & face masks.

As we make our way toward Ω (omega)- I hope for the continued protection of people who received the vaccine & the safety of people who don't have access to or who aren't yet eligible for the vaccine Everyone else -good luck- as it seems that is what you are relying on #COVID19

I find myself in rooms with people who still insist COVID isn't real while any mention of the vaccine elicits an almost visceral reaction... As we make our way through the Greek alphabet of variants I hope the vaccine continues to help those who sought it out. God help us all.

@castleattire Each vaccine is meant to help with each disease. Getting just one isn't going to cover you for everything. Check with your doctor - there are vaccine catch up schedules.

Children getting vaccinated - with multiple shots, even those who cry & need mom to hold their hand - make less of a scene than some adults dealing with 1. I said what I said. #growup #GetVaccinated

I flew back from AK this wknd, bumped from my original flight and placed in 1st class. As I boarded, there was a lady that was in my seat- I let her know and she reluctantly moved. She looked familiar so I did a little googling… I made Sarah Palin move to her assigned seat.💀😎

It's a strange time to be a doctor - the dichotomy between awesome scientific discovery & hope with selfishness & misinformation is staggering. There's so much more to be thankful for in my little bubble of the universe & for that I am so very grateful. #CanadianThanksgiving

@GregAbbott_TX gets vaccinated immediately. Takes monoclonal antibodies even with no symptoms to ensure he doesn't get really sick when he tests +. Admits he has no symptoms bc he has been vaccinated. Just making sure this happened bc I can't keep up with the up & down.

The reasons for them can be extremely complicated, time sensitive & life threatening which is why they remain a part of reproductive health as a whole. As a medically driven & managed process - it must stay between the pregnant person & their doctor - that's it. Simple. [2/2]

An abortion "with reason/explanation" - ectopic, rape, incest, fetal abnormalities, spontaneous aka miscarriage - or an abortion with "no ''''good'''' reason" - is still an abortion. Abortions happen. [1/2]

I’m still kind of enraged about the time I was getting to know my co-residents and somehow abortion came up and one of them said he was pro-life and I said how can you honestly be a doctor and be pro-life and he said actually he had just never really thought about it
