A less wordy version of my rant is: if you are serious about your multiethnic secular utopia, why is it called Palestine, and not, say, Israstine (Gadaphi's coinage!), or Democratic Republic of the Levant, or any other name that gives both nations a nod?

@notabanderite So Germans lost land, but the Allies funded the reconstruction and resettlement of Germany. And they ended the occupation. Whereas Israel does neither. These partial analogies so more harm than good. Analogies should only be used to illustrate a narrow point of reference.

Ok, awesome. Critics of Israel are hypocrites, and some are antisemitic scum. Doesn't change the basic problem that if you are waging a war aimed to dismantle the ruling faction of Gaza, getting water to Gaza residents becomes your problem, diplomatically, legally, and morally.

Overall, I think it's clear to say that while Napoleon was good, he wasn't THAT good. He was VERY lucky too. He was so lucky that he's an outlier, both in terms of performance and in terms of lessons to be learned from him (and his battles) about the nature of warfare. [END]

@briebriejoy @BadFaithPod You repeated a wrong fact. Black women are only relatively more educated to black men compared to other ethnic groups. Asian men and women remain the most educated as measured by post-secondary degrees.
