Honestly I wasn’t big on Taeyang as a solo because I’m not an R&B person and I associate that with him. BUT I have LOVED Quintessence!! I listen to it every day along with Another Dimension 💜

Taeyang is at a point in his career where he makes his own decisions. he explicitly said without a new sound dropping an album is meaningless. If he doesn't personally feel the music he simply won't release it. It’s fine if it’s not your taste but don't pass judgment he is genuinely proud of this experimental phase and it shows.
