Read this twice.
Maya is four .md files on a macbook in austin.
And she cleared $43,000 in her first 30 days.
No camera. no girl. no late nights typing replies.
Claude code runs the messages. Elevenlabs drops the voice notes at 11pm her time. Flux generates every photo from a lora that cost $80 on a rented gpu. Brain.md is a json file that remembers your name, your city, the thing you said about your ex two weeks ago.
She never forgets. She never breaks character. She catches up at 7am with "sorry babe just woke up" on a cron schedule.
The top fan spent $1,847 last month. He's in berlin. she's not anywhere.
Aitana lópez - 18 months to build.
Emily pellegrini - 6 months.
Maya - 4 weeks.
The next one - a weekend.
The stack that used to need an agency, a team, and a year and a half now fits on one laptop and runs while you sleep.
The bottleneck isn't money. It isn't compute. It's taste knowing which details make a stranger believe in something that doesn't exist.
That part is still hard. Everything else got easy.
The real question isn't how he built it. It's how many of these you've already interacted with without knowing.

Linus Torvalds explains why he uses Fedora Linux.
He wants to be able to easily compile and run his own kernel, and wants everything else to "just work". He also mentioned he was running an older version of Fedora.
For a tech geek icon, he is remarkably anti-hype and very pragmatic. So he uses Fedora not because of how great it is (it is), but because it is the best suited for his work.
ps: Torvalds was failing to register "btw i use arch" meme.

@HughManatee89 @frenbilt By the "we've been betrayed" line I assumed it was targeted towards MAGA farmers but thanks for the clarification.

@ravikiran_dev7 I don’t like using most of them but if I had to choose it would be Google’s. Microsoft has that bug that signs me out all the time, Apple has a $600 hardware entry fee and monthly iCloud + fee. Google just has shitty hardware but it doesn’t matter, and notion I don’t use.

@OrevaZSN I mean the real answer is bc self hosted apps makes people think they’re not “real” apps. There’s not enough data on the internet about them either. You have to ask grok to find things like yamtrack- a media tracker and then the thing comes with like 10 commands to get it to run.

apple products are sold out. infinite demand for inference, rate limits everywhere. anthropic & openai growing at ridiculous pace. nvidia & google at all time highs. record meta earnings.
we are now more supply constrained than demand constrained. i suspect we’ll see inflationary pressure again very soon.
fundamentally, technology is the economy, & the economy is technology.

>tries buying a .com domain
>can’t because Squarespace owns it.
>Sees all the other domains I would choose instead.
>can’t get them bc Squarespace owns them.
wtf is @squarespace doing parking main level domains for no reason…
