I’ll be the #1 defender of this on this app then I guess. The fact you can export and sell projects on steam will change lives. I really think this game is a gift to the indie scene and can only improve with time. $20 is such a small amount of money to spend on this, and it will eventually go F2P. There’s endless potential here and people have just seen the surface. Facepunch has been working on TOOLS. Not a traditional game. I’ve noticed legitimate complaints but a loud community of (children?) complaining to no end about the price, optional cosmetics, and how the game is doomed. To that I say - lol

The @s8box release is pulling over 5,000+ concurrent players already! For a game like s&box this is really good numbers for just 6 hours after launch.

@xxbob92 @s8boxverse @s8box the hate is partially true in that currently there is def a lot of ai and low effort slop, but it is 100% certain that it will get better as time goes on when people actually make stuff and facepunch update the engine, the release blog garry acknowledge the ai problem too

Everytime I watch Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse a few things come to mind. 1. Such a phenomenal movie 2. Im dying to see Beyond the Spiderverse 3. Metro Album killed it!

@Awesome3475 Never said to make a hard game easy. Ive played both 1 &2 for a lot of hours. Theres also accession to make a game harder you dont have to fuck over base level players

@xxbob92 1. That is definitely new doormaker. 2. You'll get better with time. Don't let your early frustrations result in wanting to make a hard game easier ESPECIALLY this early into EA.
