Interesting thought. We call Torah, Toras Moshe. But Moshe doesn’t even appear in the first book and doesn’t even enter the Land of Israel. There is another character that actually binds all of the books of the Torah together. Yosef HaTzadik. His remains are explicitly mentioned in Joshua 24:32. I have a theory about the connection between Moshe and Yosef and Yosef as the binding of the Five Books, so to speak (6th, Yesod)—but curious if you may have thoughts?

On Shavuot, we became a nation. Not in the Land of Israel, but in the desert. Because the Jewish nation is not a nation of soil, ethnicity, or indigeneity. We are a nation defined by Torah. That Torah is what makes us a nation wherever we are, through the most desolate deserts and into the most cosmopolitan cities. Through the Torah, we remain a nation, wherever we are.

@Yakovolf @Little_Ms_Nope Half of the Torah is mitzvot of Korbanot or laws to do with the land of Israel. That means the Torah and eretz yirael are INSEPERABLE. We keep the torah incompletely. Almost 3 entire Sedarim of Mishna aren't applicable (zra'im zvachin taharot) bc we're not established in our land

@yJewsStayJewish @Little_Ms_Nope No, the Torah was given to be kept wherever a Jew is. You also cannot separate Shabbos from the Torah or Tzitzit from the Torah. If you separate even one aspect of the Torah from it, you're also a Kofar.

In kabbalah, eretz yisrael is olam haYetzira while the rest of the world is olam haAsiyah, it is literally a different reality. It is the palace of the King, where access and holiness is easily accessible, specially yerushalayim.

@Yakovolf @Little_Ms_Nope The Torah was given to be kept in the land. 40% (or more) of the Torah we received in the desert itself repeatedly talks about "when you enter the land etc etc". You cannot seperate the Torah nor judaism from the promised land. If you do, you're a kofer in torat moshe.

@Yakovolf @QAlmeleh God even b4 the exodus told moshe that the point of taking them out of Egypt was to bring them to the land He promised the Avot. The Torah can only be fully & properly kept in the land of Israel. If you dont understand this or long for living in Eretz Yisrael ur yidishkite is off

"Eating" from the "Tree of Knowledge good & evil" caused for man to be drawn after physical pleasures & distracted from the spiritual pleasure of knowing/reveling in God & Torah. When crown the soul with control over the body, God erases our accusers & shines His blessings on us.
