People who come here should be vetted for good character. They should come here with some type of education or qualification so they don't become tax burdens, lowering the cost of labour and raising the cost of housing. We can barely take care of the people we already have. Most immigrants work here and send money back to their home countries, weakening our economy and strengthening theirs. Immigration should be used to strengthen a nation, not make it worse. To become a citizen of a country you weren't born in you need to prove you're a patriot. I just wanna put it out there that 21 was detained by ICE like 4 years ago… this is a person with money, a legal team and his first language is English so there’s no language barrier… If it took him 3+ years to gain citizenship, imagine what this looks like for others…

@__Floww lmao, i know mf’s who had to leave the country for 10 years before starting the process bc they entered illegally. i think things are changing tho, my parents were able to start the visa U process and not leave the country bc my dads work got shot up in 2008. maybe this year tho.
