@geminicli please unsuspend me as I've been using Gemini for years now but I use it once in Opencode and can't access Antigravity anymore? I need access or I'm switching to @Kimi_Moonshot

I've been talking to others about the "compression of the inner loop". Things that I never care about as a developer that I found annoying to run (linters / style checkers, pre commit hooks, all of the tools that run "post compilation"), I now want to run before the agent commits. The "AI compiler" in a sense isn't special language, but a harness that burns tokens to run *a lot more tools* than we previously ran or that we deferred running when we were the ones hand crafting the inner loop (guard rails). I don't think programming languages are going away, I think there'll be a new kind of inner loop tool that runs through lots of verification in order to make sure what is coming out passes some bar set by the author.

the quality of the AI's output is proportional to your ability to verify its correctness which means a minority of people lauding the productivity gains from AI are doing great work and the majority are just deluding themselves

Big AI labs are pushing the compute costs back to consumers now. It is creating an inequality issue, where decent usage of SOTA models are being pushed to more expensive plans. Will love to see how this gets addressed. The ones who can't afford will be forced to use old models.
