Last year, the gov't promoted a $5 billion Protecting Ontario Account. Only $1 billion was actually made available. Imagine losing your job and finding out that only 20% of the fund that was supposed to protect workers was ever used. That's not protection. It's smoke and mirrors.

Tomorrow, I'm forcing a vote to save OSAP – reverse the cuts, eliminate the interest. This is the urgent first step to give students immediate relief. Then, I will keep fighting for every solution to make education affordable and accessible for everyone.

Day by day, Doug Ford is turning into Donald Trump.    We've seen this play out before.    Shielding his phone records from the public and changing the law to protect himself isn't democracy. And it certainly isn't what he wasn't elected to do.

Doug Ford can make all the excuses he wants. The people of Ontario deserve to know who he's been texting while he cuts OSAP, sells off farmland and levels Ontario Place.
