Congress is set to formally back TVK, with its letter of support to the Governor to be sent tomorrow. It will also extend official support to TVK but with clear riders — no tie-up with any NDA ally, including AIADMK, and a push for power-sharing. Options 1, 2, and 3 are not reliable; they may do the same thing they did to DMK and AIADMK. The fourth option depends on what the two leaders decide. Governance in Tamil Nadu would be better without interference from national parties, while still maintaining a cordial relationship with the central government. It should be free from hate-driven politics.
