As the first app with bitcoin and contacts in the same place, Orange opens up novel, intuitive ways to send bitcoin directly to contacts - no address required. Orange utilizes a DID to uniquely identify users, and you can send bitcoin to them using contact name alone.

Most messaging apps are end-to-end encrypted (E2E) but still keep records of who you talk to. Orange solves this with peer-to-peer (P2P) communications and money (#bitcoin) that stay between you and friends. Here's what I've been designing. 👨‍🎨

@RogueCfpb @mikulaja They’re trying to make it harder to catch money launderers while also overwhelming FinCEN to make it harder to catch money launderers.

So the Trump admin lowered the currency reporting requirement along the border to an absurd $200 level, dramatically increasing the costs for all those businesses to comply (and increasing the noise), purportedly to catch fentanyl drug traffickers. Then they gut the corporate transparency act to make it 100X easier for fentanyl drug traffickers to launder money. I don’t know, but I’m starting to think this admin may not know what it’s doing … Link below
